Often, our mind tells you do etc... but your heart says the opposite.
Occasionally our mind tells us to think the most rational thing we could ever thought of, which is....common sense. But at times, common sense do make us a bit...sad.
Maybe a little common sense won't hurt anybody, at least in front of everybody else's eyes. But what about our emotional side? It'll scar you...for life. I'll take love for an example. Some people (usually the initiator) can go on and on and on with their love life. Switching partners are a piece of cake. These initiators usually use...their minds.
Boring? Tired of him/her? Out of love? Too many fights? Found somebody else?
Hey, why don't just dump them? After a bit of talking, it's done. DONE. NO MORE HASSLE.
The receivers, on the other hand, usually use...their hearts. Yes, they follow their heart to the extent that it can be pretty dangerous sometimes. Our hearts are a bit...tricky to deal with. Once you love them, you can't stop. Once you hate them, you still can't stop. Our hearts often plays with our feelings. I'm one of them.
So, here's the conclusion: minds win, hearts lose. But on the emotional side, hearts win.
So, eventhough you should follow your mind, follow your heart and you'll fill your emotional needs. It's better being happy than being a dumbass :)
“I would rather have eyes that cannot see; ears that cannot hear; lips that cannot speak, than a heart that cannot love” - Robert Tizon.
